Post Plants was was born on the 6th December 2025. Nurtured from a simple desire by three green fingered guru’s, the root of our journey didn’t just come from a light bulb moment but from a passion, a passion to support our customers on their personal gardening journey. Gardening isn’t just a hobby it’s an adventure, where we never stop learning and are motivated by our success, from the moment we plant that first seed, snip that first branch or the inspiration of seeing that first green shoot appear above the surface. Post Plants was founded to help shape your journey and share those proud moments, by providing you with the tools, support and guidance you may need, as and when you need it, at the click of a button. Our Roots
Whilst the three of us have had very different career paths it was our passion for gardening that brought us together. With over 40 years combined experience in horticulture and business we not only have the knowledge and skills to be able to guide you on your gardening journey but we have the experience, qualifications and mindset to help you start or grow your business should you need support.
Steve has over 20 years’ experience in garden centre and retail operations management, he has a strong record of driving sales growth, improving customer experience, and developing profitable, well-run businesses, sometimes from very poorly performing ones. Holding an MBA in Business Management, Leadership & Sustainability and recognised as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Leadership, he combines commercial understanding with hands-on management expertise across retail, horticulture, and hospitality environments.
Dan has over 20 years of senior experience in procurement, logistics, and supply chain management, having a proven ability to run operations efficiently, being a professional negotiator and grow businesses sustainably. He is qualified in Procurement, Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management (ISCM, MCIPS, ILM), he has spent his career managing complex supply chains, supplier networks, and multi-site operations across the retail, manufacturing, and distribution sectors.
Poppy has several years’ experience in horticulture, plant management, and warehouse operations, She has a strong understanding of both the commercial and practical sides of running a successful nursery and retail plant operation. Her experience combines hands-on horticultural knowledge with proven management ability in logistics, stock control, and team leadership.
